International Crisis Response Coordinators Network Meeting
(formerly known as CISM Coordinators’ Meeting)
Come find out what took place at the 2012 ICRCN meeting that was held in Germany. Learn about the organization, the new non-profit status, and where the next meeting (2014) will be held. All crisis intervention administrators and responders are welcome. ICRCN is an independent organization not affiliated with ICISF. Meeting scheduled for Thursday, February 21, 5:30pm – 6:30pm. Please indicate your plan to attend this meeting when completing your registration.
Spiritual Care Special Interest Group Meeting
“The Apologetics of the Versatile Chaplain:
When can I buy a chicken sandwich again without sending the wrong message?”
On Thursday, February 21, 5:30pm – 7:00pm, join us for what will likely be a spirited discussion that interposes political morals, cultural platitudes and religious preference as we seek to develop a philosophical defense of the endearing nuance that is the modern chaplain. Take this opportunity to share challenges and successes encountered when some well intended, zealous colleague wipes their pious nose on your liturgical cloth. Prepare to dig in for some verbal fisticuffs as we determine what works and what should be abandoned when it comes to personal conviction in the crisis intervention genre. All opinions welcome…just be sure to clean up after yourself! Please indicate your plan to attend this meeting when completing your registration.
